Savannah and Jeff's baby was born on April 17
Since the baby was so big, Savannah lost a large amount of blood and had to have surgery to stop the bleeding. She is now recovering very nicely.Thanks for everyone's prayers. The baby is doing very well and looks very much like Granny Snyder and Barrie Lynne.

Seth and Sienna are playing the part
the upcoming musical Oliver and are doing very well with their parts. They are playing the little orphan children and are singing and dancing. Tickets will go on sale soon and the event will take place April 25th and 27th. Also they have a
spring piano recital coming up soon so as you can see they have been very busy. . They recently completed the Eaglet program in Karate and were promoted to the Junior Program and are now working on a Junior Black Belt and are still taking Gymnastics along with Noah.
We recently joined the Amazement Square Museum. As members we can go anytime of the day so we spend a lot of time there between classes learning about science and technologies.
To the entire family we will continue having our Wednesday night get together and dinner and of course Sunday lunch and if we're not at home you are welcome to stop by and help yourself to food. We are hoping to start a family musicband and hope to practice one day a week,maybe after the play is over we will start this. Any more ideas let us know.

Baby Ieliel Joel is the name Gabriel and Mandee has chosen
for their baby boy. Iel are the last three letters in Gabriel's name written twice.
In a few days Savannah and Jeff's baby will make her appearance.

.Today, in vitro fertilization (IVF) is practically a household word. But not so long ago, it was a mysterious procedure for infertility that produced what were then known as "test-tube babies." Louise Brown, born in England in 1978, was the first such baby to be conceived outside her mother's womb.
Unlike the simpler process of artificial insemination -- in which sperm is placed in the uterus and conception precedes otherwise normally -- IVF involves combining eggs and sperm outside the body in a laboratory. Once an embryo or embryos form, they are then placed in the uterus. IVF is a complex and expensive procedure; only about 5% of couples with infertility seek it out. However, since its introduction in the U.S. in 1981, IVF and other similar techniques have resulted in more than 200,000 babies.
We also have frozen embryos once tucked away in a Lab in North Carolina but now safely in a Lab in Virginia.

Ten hour road trip

at the end of the month. Also Sienna and Seth are playing little orphan children in
the musical Oliver. The play will be held in Lynchburg in April.

Happy Birthday to April.. She celebrated with her family at home and at
a Japanese Restaurant, first time she's eaten out in years.
Field Trip to Gross's Apple Orchard. The children enjoyed Mrs. Gross reading them a story about apples and then she gave each of them one. We then shopped and purchased boxes of different fruits and vegetables to share with family and friends We are planning on going back soon for an a Wagon Ride around the Orchard.
Our baby brother Levi is walking like a pro now at only nine months and he loves riding on the motorcycle as well as Luke.

Luke and Levi are twins born eighteen months apart as a result of IVF. Luke was born first while Levi remained frozen in a Laboratory. Eighteen months later Levi was born. The two are Fraternal Twins but the older Levi gets the more identical they look. Some daYs we can't tell them apart. Here is a video of the two enjoying a wagon ride in the woods. Seth and Sienna was promoted to an advanced class in Karate, so proud of them.
We took the first picture of the twins Christmas of 2011 and the second on Christmas 2012. Each year their picture will be taken at the same spot and they will continue having their picture made at the same spot for years to come.
